Wee Creek Press began in 2004 when husband and wife co-publishers Steven and Debi Womack bought a tiny  startup, Whiskey Creek Press  (WCP) with nearly ten titles.

Over the course of the next decade, Steven and Debi grew WCP into one of the nation’s largest independent publishers with more than 2,500 titles published, written by 150 different authors representing 25 countries, and two imprints, Whiskey Creek Torrid and Wee Creek Press.

In 2014, Whiskey Creek Press and Whiskey Creek Torrid were sold to Start Media Publishing, New York, a publisher and feature film production company. Steven and Debi retained Wee Creek Press and continue to publish fine children’s fiction more than five years later.

 

Today Wee Creek Press is one of the publishers which provides children's books for the non-profit:
