Wee Creek Press is a proud participant in the Tommy Two Shoes Literacy Project. This non-profit organization seeks to send whole classrooms of children home with a free book.
Representatives from a school fill out a simple questionnaire requesting participation.
Sponsors peruse the list of schools and choose one to support.
A book is chosen from the catalog of participating publishers. These are produced at significantly less cost than retail, with the sponsor's business name or logo printed inside.
An assembly is held to read a passage, encourage literacy and distribute a book to each child.
